In England, Hertfordshire garden smashes own tomato cultivation record

A man has broken his world record for growing the most tomatoes from a single stalk.
Douglas Smith of Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire, grew 1,269 tomatoes on one farm last September, an achievement just verified by Guinness World Records.
It beats its previous record of 839, which came from a plant that bore fruit just before the new record-breaker.
